Kera Walter joined Ceisler Jubelirer as an associate in June 2004.  On behalf of Ceisler Jubelirer’s clients, she researches grassroots opportunities, such as speaking invitations; drafts media materials, such as press releases and fact sheets; manages and plans events, such as press conferences and announcements; and assists in reaching out and placing stories in the local and statewide media.  Current and former clients include Wal-Mart Stores, Trump Entertainment Resorts, Partners for Sacred Places, Westrum Development Company, Eagles Youth Partnership and Cradle of Liberty Council, Boy Scouts of America.

Ms. Walter is a member of the Center City Resident’s Association and serves as co-editor of the organization’s newsletter, The Scene. She also serves as Educational Programming Chair for the Philadelphia Public Relations Association and sits on the Board of Directors of Philadelphia City Sail, a local non-profit organization.  Additionally, Ms. Walter serves as a member of the Activities and Outreach Committee for the Philadelphia Young Non-Profit Leaders, an organization designed to encourage graduates of Philadelphia area universities to remain in the region and provide services to non-profit groups.

Prior to joining Ceisler Jubelirer, Ms. Walter worked in the Saint Joseph’s Office of Government and Community Relations, where she assisted in the coordination of community outreach programs.  During her tenure she also worked closely with state and local officials while assisting in the University’s efforts to re-zone and develop University property.

Ms. Walter graduated Magna Cum Laude from Saint Joseph’s University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.  She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest academic honor society, and Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society.  In addition, Ms. Walter was actively involved in student government and was integral in reinstituting the Saint Joseph’s Chapter of the College Democrats in 2002.  Ms. Walter received the Saint Joseph’s University Political Science Department Award for outstanding academic achievement.
