JEFF JUBELIRER

Working with high profile businesses and executives, and building political coalitions in both the corporate and non-profit arenas, Jubelirer helps develop and execute all aspects of his clients’ strategic communications programs, including media relations, issue management, crisis communication and community relations.  In addition to his day-to-day work, Jubelirer serves as a political analyst on Philadelphia’s NBC 10 and as an adjunct professor of public relations in Temple University’s graduate program in Strategic and Organizational Communications.

Previously, he worked at Tierney Communications, one of the mid-Atlantic’s largest communications firms.  Prior to joining Tierney Communications, he worked at the Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. political consulting and public affairs firm BrabenderCox.

Jubelirer was named in 2005 as one of the region’s “40 under Forty” by Philadelphia Business Journal for his commitment to professional excellence and community involvement.  In addition, Jubelirer was recognized as one of “22 People to Watch” by Philadelphia Magazine in November 2003.  In addition, his political and strategic communications analyses have appeared on FOX 29 and 1210 WPHT AM ("The Big Talker"), and in PR WEEK, Philadelphia Business Journal, Philadelphia Daily News, Metro, The Jewish Exponent, PW and City Paper. 

Jubelirer is the former president of the Philadelphia Public Relations Association and serves on the Boards of Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children, Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education, Friends of the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center and the Anti-Defamation League of Eastern Pennsylvania/Delaware.

Jubelirer received master’s degrees in integrated marketing communications and political science from Northwestern University, and his bachelor’s degree in political science from The Pennsylvania State University.  While at Northwestern, he was published in the national Journal of Integrated Communications and received the prestigious Issue Management Council Award for his work with Miller Brewing Company.  For his scholarship, Jubelirer was inducted into Kappa Tau Alpha, the national honor society for journalism and mass communication.

 

Jubelirer resides in Villanova, Pennsylvania with his wife Tracey, a pediatric oncologist with The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and daughters Sofie and Alison.
