Harris joined Ceisler Jubelirer in August 2006. Harris assists in developing
and implementing communication plans for clients; planning and promoting client
events; coordinating relevant industry research; and coordinating budgets and
schedules for media buying. Moreover, she researches grassroots opportunities,
such as speaking invitations; drafts media materials, such as press releases,
media advisories and fact sheets; and places stories in the local and statewide
media.
Before joining Ceisler Jubelirer, Harris worked in the communications department
on Temple University’s health sciences campus. As a public relations
associate, she planned and implemented PR strategies and projects to reflect
Temple’s emerging priorities and goals. In addition, Harris interacted
with local and national news media to garner substantive positive coverage for
Temple Health Science Center programs and faculty.
Harris launched her communications career at Fox Philadelphia as an intern,
followed by a position at WILM News Radio as a weekend news reporter. She
then went on to work as an assignment editor at WB17 in Philadelphia while simultaneously
developing and producing a weekly women’s health segment for WB17’s
News at Ten.
